His current record being at twenty-eight wins and only six losses, the Rampage is one of the most feared UFC fighters out there. He's had some wins last year against big names like Dan Henderson and Chuck Liddell. Talking about Chuck, did Quinton really knock him out with "just a lucky punch"? What does he think about that?

He's starring in another movie and you will also see him in another reality series soon! We'll talk about that and some of his preparation before a fight. Make sure to read on and find out what exactly he's been up to and what his future plans are!

Interview

[ Q ] Quinton, you have won fights against some of the greatest fighters out there like Dan Henderson, Chuck Liddell, Matt Lindland, etc. Which win is most memorable to you? Why?

[ A ] My last win against Dan Henderson, because it's my last win. It's what I remember the most.

[ Q ] I understand, but which one is most notable to you?

[ A ] I guess I feel the best about the Dan Henderson fight because that's the one that I got the title from.

[ Q ] Some people have come out and said that it was a lucky punch that took out Chuck [Liddell]. What's your response to this?

[ A ] Eh, "Who cares"? They didn't see my training. They're a lot of haters. Was it a lucky punch the first time I beat his @ss in Japan? Was that a lucky punch too?

Well that question doesn't really reflect my opinion. It's what's said out there though. You know, to be honest with you, that fight was a racist fight, so I feel like anybody who said it was a lucky punch, most likely that they were haters.

[ Q ] What's your relationship with Chuck like outside of the octagon?

[ A ] Outside he's a cool dude, you know. When I see him I see him, we're nice to each other, we don't hate each other.

[ Q ] Yeah, because you just fight for the money right?

[ A ] Yeah, it's my job.

[ Q ] Will there be a another rematch in the future?

[ A ] I don't know and I don't care.

[ Q ] Is there a certain type of music that gets you psyched before you train?

[ A ] Music? No. I don't need that stuff. You know, I don't know if you guys understand, but I see training strictly as a job. I don't have to take no medicines, no drugs, I don't need no music or nothing to get me going.

[ Q ] Does anyone scare you?

[ A ] Only person I fear is God.

[ Q ] You were an all-start wrestler in high-school and some time in college, but started getting into MMA fighting later on. Why and how exactly did you get into this?

[ A ] I got into MMA so that I could keep wrestling after college.

[ Q ] But you were influenced by friends that were doing it too right?

[ A ] One of my friends thought that I would be good at it.

[ Q ] How often do you eat each day?

[ A ] I just try to eat real clean, and try to eat six times a day.

[ Q ] And do you all prepare it yourself or do you have someone else cook for you?

[ A ] I have a chef that comes to my camp six weeks prior to the fight.

[ Q ] How do you prepare for a fight mentally?

[ A ] Prepare for what, my fight? No man I don't need that stuff I just want to fight. I'm a fighter, that's what God made me to do.

[ Q ] You are the coach on the seventh season of Spike's TV show "The Ultimate Fighter." What's it like being on a reality series; does it really invade your privacy?

[ A ] Yeah it invades all my privacy.

[ Q ] Can you tell me a little bit more about that?

[ A ] The only thing that's weird - there's not a whole lot I can tell you or I get sued - but what I can say is that it's going to be the best one ever.

[ Q ] What are your thoughts on your fight against Forrest Griffin at the end of "The Ultimate Fighter 7"?

[ A ] I think it's going to be a fight, and I think that I'm going to finish the fight. Early.

[ Q ] Can you tell me a little more about your music career? Any updates?

[ A ] There's no new updates. That was a long time ago, when I was fighting in Japan, and I'm not even fighting in Japan no more.

[ Q ] You're not trying to get back into that, maybe in the future?

[ A ] No, not right now. I don't know. I'm concentrating on being a champion right now.

[ Q ] I understand that you are in a new movie called Midnight Meat Train, can you tell me a little about that and your role in the movie?

[ A ] It's a horror movie and I'm a black man; what more can you say? I don't last long.

[ Q ] When's that going to be out?

[ A ] May 16th.

[ Q ] One of your co-stars Vinne Jones used to be quite a violent pro soccer player prior to his acting career. Did he want to exchange a few moves with you?

[ A ] Vinne Jones is actually one of the nicest dudes I met in a long time, all we did is have great laughs and have a good time. He didn't want to know anything about fighting. I didn't even know that he was a violent soccer player, you couldn't tell by hanging out with the guy. He is the nicest guy. Maybe not so much when you pissed him off. Like you pissing me off asking me these questions about knocking out Chuck with a lucky punch.

[ Q ] You have lost twice to Wanderlie Silva, will you avenge this?

[ A ] If he can keep winning. But I don't care, I'll fight Wanderlie, but the UFC don't want to give it to me unless he's winning right. I'd fight Wanderlie tomorrow.

[ Q ] Where do you consider your best fan base is at?

[ A ] I don't know. I guess I would say the fans that know me the best are my Japanese fans. I can't talk to them, because they don't speak English. The American fans are growing on me.
