Background

I first got started during the summer of 1996. I played college baseball and used the summer mainly as a time to grow. As the season neared I would basically quit so I wasn't sore. I basically concentrated on cardio during the season. Since baseball is now finished, I have had a year and a half to really concentrate on maintaining and not starting and stopping. This time has helped me figure out my body, my workouts, and what my body is responding best to. I have never competed before, but plan on making the Natural Show in June, my first contest.

Workout And Supplements!

My Workout

My strategy for the next few months is going to be to grow as much as possible. I'm trying to take in as many clean calories as I can right now. I find that for me as far as growth is concerned my body responds but if I train each body part "HARD" once a week. My split looks like this:

  • Monday: Quads/Hamstrings
  • Tuesday: Back/Chest
  • Wednesday: Off - Cardio
  • Thursday: Biceps/Triceps
  • Friday: Shoulders/Calves - Cardio
  • Saturday: Off
  • Sunday: Off

Supplements

I am currently getting good results from:

Forced Reps: Going Heavy!
How important is it to go heavy? I suppose every bodybuilder is entitled to their own ridiculous opinion. In my opinion, it is the one thing that I am most consumed about throughout my workouts. If you want to grow, you gotta go heavy.
