Many people don't realize how easy it can be to be a bit more active throughout the day by doing simple things (or not doing some others). With technology evolving everyday, people are slowly becoming used to a more sessile life and often don't even notice. The national average weight is increasing and this is a big part of why it is. It's very easy to get back on track and these little things, done for the next month, will help you battle back!
Instead of taking the elevator all the way to your floor, get off 3 floors early and take the stairs instead.
Next time you're going to send an email to a work partner or colleague, take a few minutes and go visit him/her in their office.
Go for a ten minute walk while talking to a friend on a cell phone. The time will pass faster and you can still get your gossiping done!

By the end of these 4 weeks, you'll have noticed that you have more energy and will feel better about yourself. It's these simple little things that will help you get back on track (or keep you on track if you're already there)! Recommend this article to a friend by e-mail here!
