We finally get put to the test with an intense workout. Training with IFBB Pro bodybuilder Dayana Cadeau was an eye opener. She showed us some non typical exercise variations that contribute to her signature lats. She has a long list of victories on stage as a female bodybuilder and "the proof is in the pudding".
Learn a few new exercises to target your back and get that v-taper that you desire. Dayana is no stranger to good form and proper breathing to maximize oxygenation of the blood that is getting pumped into your muscle tissue for full exertion.
Learn how to stay motivated by seeing results in the way of muscle size and strength. This will help you focus on reaching your fitness goals and aspirations. We all know the first thing a person should do after meeting a goal is to make another one.
Make sure and keep the goals realistic and attainable so you don't get discouraged or set yourself up for disappointment. For example, focus on gaining 1/4 inch on your bicep measurement in 3 months, as opposed to gaining an inch in a year. You can fuel your motivation by conquering one small attainable goal at a time.
In this episode you will learn that it is often helpful to incorporate lifting straps or hooks. These particular items are used to maximize stress on your targeted muscle group. We are often faced with early fatigue or muscle failure on secondary muscles that are being stressed during a compound movement exercise.
We appreciate Dayana Cadeau coming to the big town of Boise, Idaho and taking the time to join us in the gym. I can only hope that everyone will some day have an opportunity to train with a pro. We learned some tips and tricks that will help the overall development of two major muscle groups and look forward to gains. Follow Dayana's career as a IFBB Pro bodybuilder and cheer her on at this year's quickly approaching 2007 Ms. Olympia.
