My name is Tim Sahr. I work for the City of Waterloo. I started bodybuilding in 1980 and have been competing since then. I have held the Mr. Iowa title 4 times; in 1987, 1988, 2004, and 2007. National Competitions: 2002, 15th place in bantamweight class; 2004, 13th place bantamweight class; 2005, 10th place in bantamweight class; 2006, 13th place bantamweight class, Jr. Nationals; 2007, 12th place in lightweight class.
Moving up a weight class from bantamweight to lightweight. I feel that I am better as a lightweight then a bantamweight.
I currently train at home on my own. My girlfriend spots for me. Training At Home:
I feel everyone at the national level that competes is competition. Because you have to be at your best to get to the national level.
I have my routine, really don't do anything strange.
This year has been the strictest I have ever dieted.
Wanting to become a pro. My wife was the person that talked me into competing again. She past away in 2003. So I continue to compete for her and my 3 children.
