Sample Week Of Diet
My diet changed consistently throughout my prep to insure I was losing fat and maintaining my muscle mass, and without giving away too much of my nutritionist plan I will say that I followed the basic principles of a competitors diet.
- Meal 1: Egg Whites & Oatmeal
- Meal 2: Protein shake
- Meal 3: Chicken/Fish, yam and green veggies
- Meal 4: Chicken/Fish and veggies or Protein Shake and veggies
- Meal 5: Chicken/Fish and Veggies with a salad
- Meal 6: Egg White Omelet/Corn Tortilla

Sample Week Of Training
Cardio varied each week and was more intense as I neared my show date. But I did cardio 7 days a week anywhere from 45-100 minutes a day usually split into 2 or 3 sessions.

Suggestions For Others
My suggestions would be to write down your fitness goals and keep referring to them. Look at the goal daily! Remind yourself what you are trying to accomplish and follow a plan! As long as you are prepared, you will accomplish your goal and so much more!

You Will Accomplish
Your Goal And So Much More!
Be consistent and NEVER GIVE UP!! As a new mom, I was determined to lose the post baby weight. I didn't want to fall into a rut just because I had a baby. So, I made a goal for myself, wrote down a plan and followed it to the letter! Three months later I stepped on stage and placed 3rd in my class.

Be Consistent And NEVER GIVE UP!!
I am now prepping for another show in 6 weeks and hope to improve on the areas that were lacking (mainly legs, glutes and abs) - I wrote down my new goal, and I'm on my way to achieving it!!
